Our beautifully landscaped homes are built from the ground up exclusively for residential treatment of drug and alcohol addiction, making it easier for residents to commit to treatment in a private, home-like environment with dignity and respect. Our serene location also welcomes residents from across the country to take part in our uniquely individualized treatment program.
Treating Residents with Dignity and Respect
Finding the right drug addiction treatment center can be the hardest part of beginning the recovery process. At The Discovery House, each resident receives a No Cost Treatment Assessment to determine which level of care will best serve them. And, we develop a specialized treatment plan designed to meet individual needs, choices and concerns. Our certified substance abuse counselor caseloads are designed to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment experience and we maintain a 3 resident to 1 counselor ratio for that purpose. And, we maintain expanded staff to ensure that our highly credentialed treatment team can deliver the highest level of care to residents.
We understand that asking for help is often difficult. Many people are too embarrassed or ashamed to get treatment for their drug addiction, and are willing to live with their disease for months or even years before getting help. At The Discovery House, we provide a safe environment in which addicts and alcoholics can identify the issues that led them to self-destructive behaviors. Our understanding staff meets every resident where they are within their own stage of change. We help residents learn how to define and address the underlying core issues that present inner discord, self-concept challenges and isolating behaviors so that recovery can be achieved.
