What to Bring to Rehab

What to Bring to Rehab

You might be wondering what to bring to the drug alcohol treatment center once you are admitted to The Discovery House’s residential addiction treatment programs. Our admissions staff will give you a list of what to bring along with you to rehab when you begin your stay. Typically, you will need a few personal items, such as a few changes of clothes, books or magazines, comfortable shoes and personal care items. You will need your insurance card and an ID, along with any medications prescribed by your doctor. You will be asked to leave at home things like video games, TV and DVDs. Items such as drugs, alcohol, drug paraphernalia and weapons are strictly prohibited, as well as any item that is suggestive of drugs or alcohol, such as clothing, CDs and movies representing substance abuse.
