Intensive Outpatient Program
At Discovery Transitions, we strongly believe in an individualized approach to recovery. We know that each client is different. What works for one person might not work for another. While some clients are in need of the structured environment that a residential program can provide, others may benefit from the flexibility of an intensive outpatient program.
How Long Is An Outpatient Program?
Our intensive outpatient program combines the best in individualized care with various group therapies to help clients establish a support system. Our outpatient programs range anywhere from 30 to 180 days or longer depending on an individual’s needs. While enrolled in our outpatient program, our clients receive one individualized session per week and are expected to participate in support groups for a minimum of 9 hours per week.
Is An Outpatient Program Right For Me?
Those who have had a short history with addiction, are at low risk for relapse, and can commit to attending regular therapy sessions may be candidates for outpatient treatment. These individuals still need professional help, and will benefit greatly from therapy sessions, but are able to incorporate our outpatient drug rehab into the rest of their life and schedule. Outpatient therapy provides more freedom than residential treatment but both offer a rigorous program that teaches clients how to live a balanced and fulfilling life.
